    Default Powered Shake ideas???

I think it was JUST BILL or LEAFTYPE that gave the recipe for a couple shake premixes they invented:
The AM shake had maltodextrine a an ingredient.
The PM shake had whey powder as an ingredient.
    I CAN'T FIND THE THREAD.
However, I am open to others that don't include heating . . .

Any whey protein can be added to cold water and shaken to make a "shake". I would suggest using whey protein isolate only. All the others are crap.

When backpacking most of my breakfasts consist of a quick, filling and energy-boosting drink I make from something I got at Whole Foods called Garden of Life Raw Meal. I add Nido and make packet of various flavors using coconut sugar, cocoa powder, powdered peanut butter and pulverized (in a blender) freeze-dried fruits widely available at Wal-Mart etc.

That raw meal is excellent especially if you throw in a banana.
