Haha, I enjoy a little bit of victimization. Makes me feel validated and superior when I take the high road.

On a more serious note, bullied is as bullied feels. At least, that's what Forest Gump's mama would have said.

Hey Happy - good luck, west central Ohio here and still cold with snow here....+1 on buying a jacket before starting, it will be worth the weight to not be shivering for 3-4 weeks. Will be in the Whites and Maine in early August. HYOH !!

Good Luck Happy from one of "them people". It is nice to have something to "cool down" in (a jacket) at the end of the day.

just got home from Amicalola Falls SP to Neels Gap section hike this past weekend. Top of Springer was jammed with dayhikers on Saturday, first nice warm weekend in a while. Folks at Mountain Crossings said the logbook was signed by approx. 45 nobo thru-hikers as of this weekend. Hawks Mtn Shelter on Sat nite had approx. a dozen for the night. Water is flowing excellent up there in all springs and creeks right now. Best of luck to class of 2014!

    Good luck.

Remember, don't stop hiking north unless something is in a cast. Then decide if that appendage can tag along for the ride.
