Default Brooks Adrenaline sale at 6PM.com

Just picked up several pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 13's at 6PM.com for $66.97 pair for my PCT hike, free shipping and no tax.

Looks like they had most sizes and widths. If you wear this shoe you know it's not the trail runner ASR version - this is the "runner" shoe. Also good for hiking IMO...

Nice deal. But they don't seem to have the wide sizes in stock,

Brooks sells the Adrenalines for a bit more ($72) but charges $5 for shipping unless you order more than $75 worth in which case shipping is free and no tax appears to be charged. I just purchased a couple of Adrenaline GTS 13s that I use for running. It looks like Brooks has the Cascadia 8s on sale as well for $78.

I'm beating myself with a stick for not buying a bunch of ASR 9's when they were $89.... The 10's are ugly as sin and $124.95 a pair.

I'm finding that more and more running and hiking shoes look like crap. I'm not sure what's up with all the unnatural colors but I like my shoes to be understated, not loud and flashy but I'm probably showing my age.

I bought what I believe is the Gortex (Black) version a few months ago.

My feet are not picky as a general rule but the arch was so high that they were unbearable. I replaced the insole, but actually had to shave down the bottom of the new insole to compensate for the high arch. Problem solved.

I am just a sample of 1, but this was not a typical experience for me.
