I can't get much past Georgia. Can't seem to resupply at either Dicks Creek or Franklin, so I keep dying from lack of food.

Screw the nay-sayers and nit-pickers. Life happens.

Died the first time making a donation to the creator. Am I going to donate again to a worthy cause? Of course. I still believe.

Died the second time - ran out of money 75 +/- miles from the end. Will I quit? Not a chance.

Ran into several rattlesnakes in ME - are they really there? Who cares - had a GREAT time trying and will continue to try until I make it.

Thanks for the time well-wasted on a pollen filled day in FL where I can't leave the house.

Thank you for putting this together. It can be a help to someone just starting off but may I suggest some minor tweets. The first is starting up, UL does not have to be home made gear. I for one buy my gear and can hold my own when it comes to UL. It can just give the wrong impression to someone just starting off.

When someone hikes with a 5 days pack of food, you are going to use more energy compare to when your hiking with two days of food. When planning on your hike day, it can make a different.

I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to bust your chops because I'm not. I know you put in some work make this program. Thank you again.

i couldnt find find the button to give away three days of food at springer. No way I would carry five days of food ith a resupply thirty miles away. This is probably why I died.

Clearly not enough Malto Mix in that five day 30 mile stretch; that's why you died.

OK made it, despite the lack of trail angels that were on the real AT, and I had to bypass many town that I really enjoyed. It was fun as a game, but no I would not want to live your version of the AT, in that I got the Noravirus and other stuff, my real AT was much nicer, but again a great game that helps me recall my journey so thanks.

I got Giardia (-30 health) but survived. Wasn't paying attention and put in too many miles one day in VA, got to 10 on the health scale and barely made it to town. After that was able to keep in good shape all the way to Katahdin. When I got near the end, the mileage indicators showed NaN (not a number) a couple of times. I also thought that somewhere in New England it skipped a town. Don't recall exactly where but it was giving me the same distance to a shelter and town. When it got to the shelter, there was no town. Almost ran out of food. I was wondering if the programing took into account things such as burning energy faster when you pack is full of food, or lodging is more expensive in the NE, etc...

I died in Branchville, NJ. It said I died from 0 energy (trying to stretch out a resupply) - but I think NJ regulated me to death.
