Default Kelty Carbon Fibre Hiking Pole?

Has anyone ever heard of Kelty Carbon Fibre Hiking Poles? They are being sold for $40 a piece here in Canada with a 2 year warranty.

No but I did notice some CF poles that were as heavy or heavier then AL so make sure you get the weight. I use the REI Carbon poles, and met someone else with another CF pole, we compared and his was quite a bit heavier then mine.

That said there is still a advantage to CF over AL, that is heat conduction. If you hike in cold weather and sometimes carry the stick by the shaft the AL models will make your had much colder. I also suspect some greater degree of lightning 'attraction' with AL sticks the CF but have not noticed any difference 'in the field'
