Rusty's?
Haven't hiked in 18 years. How is Rusty (Hard Time Hollow in VA)? I did a search and found some rumors from a few years ago that he was having health issues and/or retiring. How is he?

Is Rusty still hosting hikers? I have a business card from Trail Days in '99 that I've kept all these years. I'm finally hiking that section this weekend.
The trailside sign was still up in 2007, that's all I know.

I heard he wasn't openly hosting hikers anymore a few yrs back. My Rusty's Hard Time Hollow T shirt has long disintegrated. Sent him a few pics of me wearing it in a few places though before it became a rag.
As eccentric, opinionated, and weird as Rusty was he had some insights he shared into the AT I deeply appreciated.
