    Current Information

    Important Updates:

    March 18:
The National Weather Service modified their forecasts for the Suwannee at White Springs and Suwannee Springs, predicting crests below flood stage. Significant areas in the upper Suwannee watershed, mainly to the east and northeast of the river near the Georgia border, received less rainfall than expected.

The crest prediction for the Santa Fe River at Fort White was also reduced to below flood stage. The flood warning remains for the Santa Fe at Three Rivers Estates, which could reach flood stage by Saturday.

Suwannee gages are not forecast to reach flood stage in the next 5 days.

The Aucilla at Lamont is expected to crest 1.5' above flood stage by Thursday, considered minor flooding.

People with interests on area rivers should monitor forecasts closely. Forecasts can change once final storm totals are known and the upper gages begin to crest.
