    :banana leaving tommarow....

it is 10:18 monday the 17th I'm sitting in front of my computer filling up my mp3 player. a snow storm and extra cold weather has just hit Delaware, and it really starts to sink in. Tomorrow I'm leaving for quite posibble the biggest adventure I have ever been on. whoa! its a feeling I can only describe as being a kid and knowing tomorrow your leaving for family vacation at the beach mixed with alittle I know I did something wrong your parents know but say we'll talk about this tomorrow. I can't help but laugh to myself as I type this. I lost my sock liners for about 4hr after a dose of permethrin , my glove liners have been gone a day after keeping them in plain sight for 4 months with no problems (i think there lost). needless to say I'm a mess. Also needed to be said the excitement and my hunger for adventure far out ways the ladder. mixed emotions all day, a bit of fear, a sprinkle of anxiety, a splash of excitement, a glaze of wonder. All combined to make ME. happy to be at this cross roads, I feel I truelly have been blessed. THANKS FOR READING...Feel free to post any thoughts two thumbs up

I know those feelings, when I started in 2012. I have them again for my start of the ADT. My trail name on the ADT is Pilgrim.

Are you going to do the northern section or southern section of the ADT?

Good luck..... just remember that your mind is your biggest enemy out there. Don't let it hold you back or down.

Don't give up or you'll regret it a year from now when life has caught up to you.

When your mind is your greatest enemy... hmm, isn't that the definition of schizophrenia? What does that say about long distance hiking?

Find a way to enjoy each step! Have a great time, find time for yourself and your thoughts on the trail.
