Default Well, this is it. . .

Tomorrow, at around 4am, I'm leaving for Georgia. I am excited, afraid, keyed up, jubilant, nervous, and weepy - but I think the weepy is just from emotional overload! I just wanted to post a quick note, thanking all of you for years of the best information about the AT available. Not to mention, years of amusement, amazement, enlightenment, frustration, support, and basically everything a forum could possibly supply. I am very grateful, and I hope to see some of you on the Trail! Wish me luck!

I'm excited for you! Also sorry we never got together for a NJ hike, but maybe we'll see you at Traildays! Have a wonderful time!

My 18 year old son and I will do the approach trail on Saturday. Sunday morning he will continue NOBO and I will return to our truck and home. He has a buzz cut haircut and wears glasses. His name is Michael, I hope that you two meet and I wish you the best of luck. How I wish that I was hiking too!
