Default Looking for weather/trail conditions report for Spring 2014

Hey BMT'ers, does anyone know if there are still any patches of snow or ice along the BMT as of late? Also, how is the plant growth along the trail so far?

    Thanks

No guarantees, as it's supposed to snow a bit tonight here in North Georgia, but I don't think you're going to run into any snow and I doubt there will be any ice either, at least as far as the 20 mile ranger station. The woods still have that late fall feel, but budding has started in the North Georgia towns and should soon start showing up in the mountains.

Check out the AT weather app if you have an android device. Great tool to use for looking that kind of information up.
