    Default Neel Gap

Had the opportunity to be in Ga. this week. Took a drive up to Blood Mtn. and hiked over to Neel Gap. I met quite a few folk just starting their journey. Even though the weather wasn't the best, (38 degrees, raining and foggy as hell) most hikers seemed to be in good spirits I even got to do a little trail magic.

Did you meet Curious George? He just wrote in his blog about the trail magic he received at Neels Gap.
"Maybe life isn't about avoiding the bruises. Maybe it's about collecting the scars to prove we showed up for it."

Trail magic in the South was great. It greatly lessens the further north you go. You still get thin.

Don't you worry Carl. I'll be showing some love on the trail in the NY NJ area this spring and summer. Hope to fatten you up if you are out there.
