    Default Mail Drop in Tennessee

I'm looking to plan a hike for this summer from Devil's Fork Gap (just north of Hot Springs) to highway 321 (Watauga Lake). the plan is to go at a fairly easy pace and do the hike in 10 days. I was wondering is there a good spot to mail a resupply box along the way. I know Erwin is in route but it is a bit further off trail than I would like. Any suggestions or ideas would be most appreciated.

Devil Fork Gap to Uncle Johnny's -- 33.1 miles, 3 days of food
Uncle Johnny's to Mountain Harbour Hostel at US 19E -- 50.3 miles, 4 days of food
Mountain Harbour Hostel to US 321 -- 33.3 miles, 3 days of food

Mountain Harbour Hostel has an outstanding reputation and is just a few tenths of a mile off trail.

If you have your heart set on just one resupply:

Devil Fork Gap to Greasy Creek Friendly Hostel -- 57.3 miles, 5 days of food
Greasy Creek Friendly Hostel to US 321 -- 59.4 miles, 5 days of food

Greasy Creek Friendly does not have a web site and is .6 miles off the AT at Greasy Creek Gap. Google it for more particulars -- it is somewhat infamous for having a very cranky neighbor.
