    Default Pet sitting

I have searched forum, but did not find a recent thread on this. I will be section hiking in June from Springer to Hot Springs or Damascus. I live in Florida and was hoping to be able to find a pet sitter near the start of the trail. I have been looking on line but wondered if anyone here had any experience with this. I have an 80 lbs. boxr and he is definitely not a trail dog. Thanks.

Why would you want to bring him to the start of the trail? It would be easier if you just left him home with someone. Then you can go straight home and not have to figure out how to detour back to where you left the dog.

Any neighbors, friends or relatives who can look after the mutt for about 4 to 6 weeks?
