    Default Black Bear Resort

Four of us made reservations at the Black Bear Resort (mile 417 in the AT Guide) this week and are loving our decision. Clean, profession staff, lots of hot water and we are sharing a very nice cabin for less than 20 dollars each.

They even helped arrange for me to take care of a minor medical issure in another town. The staff here know how to take care of hikers and they all seem to enjoy providing the services.

    Highly recommend this place.

We had a very comfortable stay in one of the creekside cabins. Nice setup with a firepit where we socialized with other guests. The store had a decent amount of resupply including individual tortillas at 25 cents each.
