New PA trail guide pending

I noticed that both amazon.com and bn.com don't have the PA trail guide immediately available. What are the chances that there's a new version of this guide on the way?

I don't want to buy the thing (and its maps) only to find that they're outdated within a few months!

Written in 1998 I would guess that it is about time for a new edition to come out.

Check with the ATC (or perhaps the KTA or PATC) as to any info. I would also purchase the book directly from the ATC so as to benefit the organization.

If you want to wait for a new edition your library may have the current edition available to borrow. I also bet you could find a cheap one on ebay (or on sites like this) if you want to wait on the next edition before you purchase new.
