    Default Foot blisters - GurneyGoo

I recently discovered GurneyGoo, marketed by GurneyGears out of New Zealand .... and it's touted as being as good as Hydropel, and better than Bonnie's Balm Climbers Salve. As most know, Hydropel is no longer on the market, much to my disappointment, it was the best dimethicone product I had ever used for foot blister prevention. The online reviews for Gurney Goo are positive, so going to give it a try. Available in the US at pxtkayaks. http://www.pxtkayaks.com/products/Gu...afe-100ml.html Other than this product, of course thin merino wool socks are a good choice for hiking. Curious if anyone on WB had tried it yet?

Don't use any lotions. Injinji socks, followed by a pair of normal socks have kept me blister free.
I wouldn't want to use a lotion as i sweat out of my feet at an alarming rate.

I use Injinji socks too, and no more blisters!
