What is the best section, most scenic hike in the panhandle?
Looking around the Florida Trail through maybe Eglin or Blackwater.
Thanks
Jeff

I've got friends who have done this hike and had a really good time.

"Hiking is as close to God as you can get without going to Church." - BobbyJo Sargent aka milkman Sometimes it's nice to take a long walk in THE FOG.
I'm in Panama City Beach (Panhandle Chapter FTA), and my two favorite FT sections are in Torreya State Park (2 loop trails w/blue blaze connecting trail, about 14 miles total); and the Econfina Creek section (approx. 18 miles from Scott Rd. to SR-20 trailhead). There are also some nice sections further west toward Eglin AFB.
Praha4 you are right those are a couple of great hikes, I was hoping to try a new one. Have you been on the east or west side in Eglin or anywhere
near the Blackwater?
