    Default Trail Up Gooch Mountain

    My Google Earth seems to show a trail that crosses the AT north of Gooch Mountain Shelter and climbs up Gooch Mountain. Google Earth doesn't seem to name the trail. Anyone familiar with it?

    might be the old gooch gap shelter turnoff just north of the newer shelter? it turned uphill to the right going Nobo

    PM Fat Man. He has a home very near that area and is an oracle when it comes to information on that section of trail.
