The part that made it creepy was that right after he would make the comment(as) he would immediately turn to you with a little smirk and say "now you're not going to report me are you?" Made me want to vomit!! He finally got the hint not to touch me when I started talking about the definition of assault & battery.

Haven't met a creep on the trail yet though

What makes someone "creepy" is entire subjective because you are the one who feels the emotion. The person you are reacting to has nothing to do with it. So if you think someone is "creepy", look deep inside yourself to find the problem. You are responsible for your feelings, not anyone else.

When I was 19 years old, I worked in a hospital cafeteria. I was bent over, stocking silverware or similar.

A female nurse, who was mid-late 50s, pinched my rear end.

I always thought if the situation was reversed (19 year old female, mid-late 50s male), it would not have been as tolerated.

Unless you were the surgeon I mentioned above. If they bring a lot of money into the hospital, especially now, they are almost bullet-proof.

Well, a few years later I was still working at the same hospital (orderly). One of my security guard friends talked about finding a secretary and a surgeon...er,busy in the hospital library at night. The surgeon chuckled when he report was brought to his attention. The secretary was fired. That was 17 or 18 years ago.

A lot of women do a lot of "creepy" things, by creepy, I mean things that guys just can't get away with. How many times have you had your haircut and women bump into you or even rest their boobs on you; I even had a girl I thought was trying to stick her boob up my ear. And there are a lot of girls that like to bump you with their boobs...why do they do that? (not that I'm creeped out).

What about them women that want to squeeze your arms and even your chest (man boobies) as they are talking to you. Can you imgaine if a guy did that...

P.S. Just to be clear, I don't come away thinking they are creepy. I usually come away thinking: "what a nice girl that was"

That hasn't really changed from my observation. It has to be really blatant for them to fire the "money-makers". As in really over the boundaries and witnessed by multiple people.

Creepy is just a word with countless difference associations to everyone.

When I think of creepy, I think of scary. When I think of scary, I think life-threatening. Getting hit on by someone? Not creepy. Getting followed? Creepy.

Creepy is a state of mind. It is fear. Some people have a lot of fear.
What I think is creepy maybe an every day thing to some one else.............
Learn to control your fears which are nothing more than emotions..........
The same as Love or Hate. Both are fears.......Emotions.....................

But if a dude did this, I'd be creeped out, and if alone, I'd definitely feel threatened. And I wouldn't think it was funny unless he was really old (like 95) and clearly no threat.
The fact is, males and females are differently sized and differently motivated, and our reactions to odd behavior has to be understood in that context.
I could be charged with assault with a dead weapon.

If you press me for a definition for creepiness I would have to say that my antennae go up when another individual does not behave in a manner that fits the situation.

    Examples I have seen:
Male, a young boy with the mannerisms of a young girl of the same age.
Female - a pre-teen behaving wantonly as if she was + 20 years older. She was a foster child and I was warned before hand that she had been abused by an older male relative.

I am by no means a professional in this subject. And I think women use and maybe overuse (?) the tag to label unwanted attentions where men use it in a more generalized and derogatory sense.

It is quite effective. I do see your point though
it must be ready in your hand. So if a person
does feel uneasy about some one be ready to
defend yourself accordingly. If you have one of
these (gut feelings) go ahead and get your mace-
pepper spray out BEFORE HAND and hold it until
you feel safe. Always be aware of your surroundings
    always be ready.......................................
