PenMar Parking pass available in advance via email

An advance parking pass is now available for overnight parking at PenMar (across the street from the county park). While the pass is not required, it is strongly recommended for those leaving their vehicle for an extended period.

Here's how to get the pass:

Email Christine Casey [email protected] at the Washington County Parks and Facilities Dept. the following information:

(1) the make and model of your vehicle
(2) registered owners name
(3) tag information
(4) dates the vehicle will parked

Ms. Casey will respond with a "do not tow" pass, as an attachment, that is to be printed and posted in your vehicle so local police will know that the vehicle has been registered.

Thanks for this information! As of 6/3/2016 this is still good. Quick easy exchange with very pleasant people.
I did an overnight (south to Devil's Racecourse and Raven Rock Shelter) and departed from Pen Mar Park. Was a great trip and ran into a number of NOBO, as well as a familiar face from the Flip Flop festival prepping for his SOBO from Maine in a couple weeks.
