Hiking NC AT in Nov

Any suggestions for a 25 mile section to hike with kids in Nov with fewest worries about hunters? Considering 19W to TN395, but this section is new for me.....good choice?

That's a good one! I forgot about it, but hiked that section this summer. Thanks for the suggestion.

i also heard Damascus/Beartree or Grindstone loops in Va might be worth a look.....anyone tried those?
