Default Any Sobo's in the Smokey's?

After the 16"+ in the Smokey's I started wondering if any of our Sobo hiking friends are experiencing it first hand in the Smokeys' or on any other mountain tops? Chime in if you are/have & stay safe out there while enjoying the "Winter Wonderland"!!

It will take a day or two before any stories make it out. I imagine more then a few were surprised.

I knew yesterday morning (October 31) that Boone would have a White Halloween.

I met several SOBOs near the 300 mile mark left to go at Jerry's Cabin shelter last Tuesday in the 68* warm sunshine. It was 46* and raining on my way out Wednesday. Some SOBOs were planning to start the Smokies on Friday. I hope they waited a day or so, most still packing gear for cool not cold weather......
