    Default is US 522 out of Front Royal safe to leave a car?

    I'm trying to get a hike planned for next weekend and am wondering if you can leave a car safely (relativey of course) where the AT crosses 522 out of Front Royal???????
    any clues would be appreciated.

    There's a rather large gravel lot to park in. 522 is heavily travelled. Just leave the valuables (your gear?!) at home or with you.

    yup it's safe. the lot is right next to the road & there are cars there all the time. like previously stated, don't leave anything of value visible (that would apply for anywhere though).
