...Overall, I would say it is very doable, if you are in shape and train hard. When I got on the trail I was about 190 at 5'11". (And 180lbs when I got off.) My advice is: train hard 6 months at least prior. Lose as much extra weight as possible before you get on the trail. Go ultralight. A lighter pack will help you enjoy the trip more and you will natrually go faster and farther. Last but not least, enjoy the journey!
