    Default Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge 3/7-3/14

I will be in this area for one week and would like to find someone willing to hike or overnight while I'm there.

are you sticking strictly to the smokies?

if not----and im around (too early to plan for me at this point in time)----i may be game for an overnighter....

more though in a wilderness area around the smokies than in the park itself...

reason being----and i know, its selfish of me---ive completed my hiking/backpacking goals in the park............

    ten four....

like i says----march is a long way out for me, in terms of planning.......

i have to find out concert tour dates, etc etc etc.....

but, im usually out about 2 or 3 weekends a month in the backcountry......

ive been hitting up the various wilderness areas that are around here (i live in knoxville) since my goals have been met for the smokies...

and there's a ton of options (joyce kilmer, snowbird, cohutta, mount rogers, roan mountain)...

i should ask---since you arent from around here-----what do you want to do? see? etc etc?

i probably i could only get out for a night or two........

Like I said. It doesn't need to be the park. I'll hike anywhere.
