XA Pro 3D, Ultra, Ultra 2? What's the difference?

I've been wearing a few pairs of Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra's for quite a few years and will continue wearing Salomons. However there are multiple models including the XA Pro 3D, XA Pro 3D Ultra, XA Pro 3D Ultra 2. The don't look much different but I'm looking for info as to what the main differences are.

The differences I see on the XA 3D Ultra 2 are:
1. Reinforcement to the 1st lace loop (I've had 2 pairs of the previous models in which the first loop broke out)
2. Slight change in tread design.
3. Slight change to the pocket that holds the lace tighter.
Otherwise pretty much the same.

Realize that this resurrects an old thread, but I was wondering about the differences between the newer XA PRO 3D compared to ultra 3.

The reason is the XA comes in a wide. The ultra does not.

Would appreciate any tnoughts.
