I use a trash compactor bag for sleeping bag and dry clothes.
Clothes go into a grocery store bag just to keep them separated from the SB.
ZPacks food blast for....food and cook kit.
A mesh bag for water filter stuff.
Few zip locks for personals, TP and phone.

I use a water proof stuff sack for my down sleeping bag. While I agree with the people that items will fit into your bag better without stuff sacks, I like the organization of using them. I keep my camp clothes in a water resistant silnylon bag from sea to summit. I have a junk drawer cuben fiber bag that I put my items that I most often use into. I keep my first aid kit, glide, TP, wipes, headlamp, batteries, etc. in this bag. When I have to use the privy or go dig a cat hole, I just grab this bag out of the top of my backpack and I have everything I need with me. I also use a cuben fiber food bag. The added weight of a cuben fiber bag is negligible. If you are having trouble fitting all your stuff in your bag while using stuff sacks, then you may have too much stuff in the first place.
