    Default camels hump road

I'm thinking of hiking the burrows trail up camels hump. Does anyone know how the driving conditions are? I have 2wd toyota matrix, no snow tires. I'll be up in two weeks.

    Thanks.

It's a very narrow, usually icy road. I certainly wouldn't recommend trying it without good snow tires. 2WD is ok, but good, preferably studded, tires are a must.

I may have been too polite... You would be absofrickinlutely nuts to try it without good snows, unless you like shelling out $$$$ to get hauled

I cant speak to new england right now with their heavy snows, but we have driven our front wheel drive toyota matrix through ice and many inches of fresh powder before without any problems. I would rather drive that my 4wd truck on ice.
