I've been reading the posts from Outdoor76 regarding shoe fit, insoles, etc. Great info, but his shop is about 8 hours away from me (I may still may the trip sometime this spring). But, does anyone have any experience with a good shoe fitter somewhere closer to the Northern Virginia area? Thanks.

+ many on Rob at outdoor 76.

I have awful feet from years of sports abuse. He explained more to me regarding my feet than my so called podiatrist. I have called many times afterwards as well and have received much helpful info.

Diamond brand in Asheville is great too, ask for Gary.

Rob at Outdoor 76 and Wayne Crosby at Bluff Mt. Outfitters in Hot Springs are the two best foot/boot people I've encountered in twenty years. Can't say enough about these guys.
