Cloudland Canyon? Cumberland Trail? Whats the best overnight hike near chattanooga? A 15 mile loop or so would be perfect. Views, good campsites with water?
Thanks guys!

This is a great circuit. I came down from PA to hike it. Note the links to closure dates during various hunting seasons.

cohutta and big frog are nearby as well..............
Salvage Gulf is a nice place to hike with nice views and waterfalls.
These are all under 15 unless otherwise noted, all spectacular:
Fall Creek Falls-lower loop plus the Cable Trail.
Savage Gulf-Big Creek Gulf(Ranger Falls if accessible) via Stone Door to Alum Gap, connect to Greeter loop, back to Alum Gap and out via rim trail.
There's also a ~29 mile loop on the other side of Savage Gulf that's best done as a 2 night trip-Savage Day loop to North Rim to Connector to Collins Gulf(see Schwoon Spring!) to Collins Rim to South Rim. Probably doable as an overnight with an early start, but I never get up there until after lunchtime.
Virgin Falls-in/out with side trips of the Overlook Trail to Martha's Pretty Point and down to Caney Fork River.
Fiery Gizzard-in/out to Raven Point and Anderson Falls plus Grundy day loop. If you feel froggy, it's a 25 mile round trip if you take it all the way to Foster Falls(I've done it both as an overnighter and a 2 night trip).
That's my short list of favorites near Chattanooga that I think everyone should see.
