Logostics, Shuttles and Sights--WSG, NC to Hot Springs?

Hi, all! Planning a big section this year from Winding Stair Gap, NC to hopefully Hot Springs and have a few questions:

1. Where would you leave your car/shuttle out of?
2. Are there shuttlers you recommend that service this whole area? Any you can park at? (I was spoiled by Joyce n Sally in GA.)
3. What in this section are some Do Not Miss sights along the way, even if they are a little off trail? Waterfalls, historic areas, etc.
4. How long has this section taken you if you hiked it?


Any other helpful hints would be much appreciated (I'm up to speed on the GSMNP reservation requirements). Thanks!

Try Donna at Cabin in the woods...no real good parking at Wsg but assume you would park and shuttle from hot springs...try 10-k on here...

Thanks, Salty! They are on my radar, I read about them in a thru hiker's trail journal last year. Ideally I'd like to park mid-way or at a shuttlers. Although I know parking in Hot Springs would be a good motivator.
