Try some minimalist shoes, I love the merrell barefoot and new balance minimus, new balance especially, they have a shoe that weighs nothing but is still durable enough as a runner image.jpg
    i love these

I could send some pics of mine if you would like to see em. Or you could just Google I guess. Good luck.
I have not been able to find any saucony hattori aw; does anyone know a site/store that has them in stock? Also, does anyone know if they are available in a size 14?

Same here. My only other recommendation is to search for them online for a good deal. Got first pair for around $25, and second later for like $16.50.

+1 on the NB. I'm not willing to spend $100 on a camp shoe but found a putrid green for less than half price (no fashion statement here).

They might not be green, but all my hiking shoes are pretty putrid.
I always know where I am. I'm right here.

Weights listed for New Balance shoes via their website is per shoe.

I just replaced my crock with a pair of Merrell ultralight trail runn8ng shoes. Lighter than crocs and could actually be used for hiking in a pinch

I don't know how this reply will be taken but Walmart has flip flops that probably weigh less than an ounce for $1, as I recall. Warren Doyle would surely approve. I wear trail runners or running shoes so I don't really have a desire to pack camp shoes but if I wore boots then I could see the value.

I actually found a pair of crocs I like. Not sure if they are new this year as I have never seen them but they are super light and feel good on my feet. For me, having something to ford rivers and creeks and a different pair of shoes at the end of the day is well worth the weight! My tired feet love a different and more airy feel at the end of the day!

This is what I wear in camp. Also great as water shoes. Order one size larger than normal. They weigh about half as much as Crocs.

Do you have a weight for these shoes? I couldn't find it on Cabelas website. I have a pair of water shoes that are great, but they weigh 13 ounces. I sent them home this year while hiking in an attempt to lessen weight. I used to have a pair of hounds at 7 ounces, but hounds aren't made anymore or at least the 7 ounce hounds that I had are not made anymore.

    Lightbulb Nightly camp shoes ONLY

Although these should ONLY be used as camp shoes,
    https://www.scoutshop.org/moccasin-k...oaAjfIEALw_wcB
they are light, comfy, cheap, and can be squeezed anywhere into your pack.
If used for crossing water, you'd break your neck.
If used for hiking, they'd wear out in a few hours.
And note also their limited size.
But they are fine for walking around camp during the night.

I do a kayak shoe a lot. A neoprene watershoe.

You might want a pair of specialty Crocs. I have a more modified CROC with ankle webbing good for fording and another pair that replicates a canvas shoe
