Default Trail head / long term parking at Big Creek Campground GSMNP ?

I'm planning a 7-day section/loop in the Smokies and can't find information on this (or a phone number?)

Do you know if one can leave a car somewhere at Big Creek campground for 6 or 7 nights? Fees or registration involved?
This is at the north end of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

No fees. Your hiking permit includes a place to list your car and license plate number. You could basicly call that your registration. If the Rangers should notice your car parked for several days, the can look up the permits and know you've planed a week long trip. You basicly have two places you can park. There is a small lot at the ranger station near the trailhead for Chestnut Branch Trail and another one across the creek from Baxter Creek trail.

If for some reason you felt like paying to park you could go to standing bear farm. Closest shower I am aware of.
