A smidge of paprika does wonders. I usually carry just salt and pepper packets though.
I put curry a lot of stuff.
I could add that the Turmeric in curry has been shown to relieve joint inflammation.

I use the condiment packets when I can, my standards are mustard and mayo, sometime relish and chopped onions, a occasional hot sauce. And grape jam packet is the only way to eat the freeze dried eggs for me.
I have not done much with spices.

Packets of Parmesan Cheese, Salt, and Pepper always and then depending on what I am eating I bring taco bell sauce, jam, mayo, mustard.
I always carry one of these: http://domsoutdoor.com/gsi-lexan-pep...ll/p/1-067732/ Don't laugh (at least not too much). The silly thing works. In fact, I use it in the kitchen here at home, for specialty peppercorns. It's got green ones in it right now.
I carry a one-handed pepper grinder too. Excellent Christmas present from my wife one year.
