:banana FS: ZPacks Hexamid Solo shelter w/ netting, beak, cuben groundsheet

I have the original version of the ZPacks Hexamid Solo cuben shelter with beak, full bug netting, and Zpacks cuben groundsheet. I love this shelter, but have decided I'll probably like Joe's new Solplex shelter even more. Time to buy some new gear. My loss, your gain!

Very good condition (one tiny netting repair made with leukotape) and less than 30 nights on trail with it. All lines attached as recommended. The current version of the Hexamid Solo is $450 for a similar configuration to what I have (what used to be the optional beak that I paid extra for is now a standard feature but is a split instead of one piece construction). The first picture shows what the beak looks like deployed and the second shot shows it rolled up. I only deploy the beak when it's really storming.

Was asking $349 originally - PRICE NOW DROPPED TO $329 - including USPS Priority Mail shipping to you in USA.
You can PM me or email me through my contact page at QiWiz.net with any questions. PayPal OK.

It is 13.2 ounces including the groundsheet, all lines, stuff sack, and 6 mitten hooks with adjustable elastic to suspend the bathtub corners and middle of the groundsheet.

Still under a pound even with ti skewer stakes. BTW I'll throw in 8 ti skewer stakes for $12 more if you need them.

According to zpacks site they say that they now build them with full storm doors. I'm guessing that's why yours is 13.2, and their newest model is 15.9? Also, 0.51oz/sq, not the upgrade of 0.72oz/sq?

The only differences that I am aware of between my Hexamid Solo and the current 15.4 oz version are [1] I have a once-piece beak rather than two-piece "storm doors" - you would have to ask Zpacks if the current storm doors extend any lower down and/or are heavier for some other reason than the previously available beak; the storm doors do overlap and that would add some weight; [2] my tent is seam sealed (by me at time of purchase) rather than having taped seams. These differences apparently make mine 2.2 ounces lighter. I have the standard 0.51 oz/sqyd cuben. As far as the photos go, the first one shows the shelter with the beak extended (and has a caption indicating that) and the second one shows it rolled up.

Did you have any trouble with rain splashing under the tarp onto whatever you used for a ground cover?

No trouble; I used the Zpacks cuben groundsheet (has bathtub corners and clips nicely into the Hexamid).
