Ended up getting on the trail in Maiine 15 july last year. Had to pull off because of health problems with my dad. Am getting back on the trail at Springer in early March to finish up. Hope to finish by July. Maybe will still see you out there Sanity's Edge.

I just booked my AMTRAK ticket from Atlanta to Gainesville. Should be in Gainesville at 9PM on 03/06/16. Where to stay?? I am guessing there will be plenty of hotels in the area but will see if the hostel will pick up that late. I hope so as I would rather give my money to the folks helping out the hikers, and to visit of course. Retirement, December 12th.

Look up the "hiker hostel" in Dahlonega. They have good rates and shuttles to pick you up and take you to springer.

Hi all, so far im called Sean. starting my hike on April 1 in harpers going Sobo. Although I'm registered on the ATC list going novo from amicola.( Anyone know how to revise it? ). Going solo and can't wait to meet all your friendly faces.
