It's been a while since we've been in the area and wondering if anyone knows the latest situation about camping near Annapolis Rock in Maryland these days? Also wondering if overnight parking is allowed at the lot on US 40. Thanks for any info.

Im 99% sure the answer is yes and yes. I believe Blissful here on WB is the ridge runner there. You may want to send her a PM.
I thought I remembered there being some good sites there (a couple years since I have been through there), so I looked it up.. http://www.hikingupward.com/OMH/Anna...lackRockCliff/
The one who follows the crowd, will usually get no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone, is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been.

I was there two weeks ago. They have fenced a lot of the area off close to the cliffs for restoration ,but there were several sites up towards the caretakers camp still usable.
Thanks everyone, very helpful. Blissful also confirmed via private message. On a similar note, is there accessible water in the area around the campground. We'll have necessary filters for streams, etc.
One of the flip-floppers confirmed to me Monday that there was a PVC piped springs and some decent campsites at Annapolis Rocks.
