Safe parking in DWG

Any recommendations for a safe place to park a vehicle for a couple of weeks in DWG? I have a shuttle scheduled but no (semi) long term parking is available at shuttler's place of business.

On another thread, someone suggested contacting an area business owner to make some sort of arrangements.

I know that an area resident told me (two years ago) that the DWG area of the trail was not a good place to park near the trail...
