    Default Is this over kill?

I'm planning to use a hammock on the CT and take a 20* TQ and UQ....is this over kill? I did a week in the Weminuche in early June a few years ago using a 20* sleeping bag and I don't remember it being too much. Thanks.

Not at all. I am taking my 20 degree quilts. You might want to send a ground sheet or a foam pad to lake city for the tundra walk.

Ground sheet too in case you're forced to camp where there are no trees - with the amount of trail above timberline it's possible, although certainly not ideal.
