PCT and public transportation in California

Hi,

I am Canadian (from Montreal) and I plan to do a small section of the PCT this summer (10 days in July). I will arrive in San Francisco. I will take public transport to get on the PCT and I must be able to take also public transport to return to San Francisco. I estimate that I can walk between 20 and 25 km per day (12 to 15 miles). About 200 to 250 km (from 120 to 150 miles) for the whole journey. Is there a Web site that would allow me to find this information (hiking of this length in Northern California with public transport) ?
