What is the current mile-mark where he appears to be taking a break? Anyone know?

He's at the northwest end of Lower Jo-Mary Lake. Where does that put him in miles-to-go?

Can someone explain how the Delorme page is working? Sometimes the "pings" are every 10-12 minutes, others over an hour, etc. Plus, the mph figure can be 0 between points, or as low as .64 mph when he should clearly be hiking faster.

Are you calling Lone Wolf crude? (Of course he's crude, he's a hiker.)
I always know where I am. I'm right here.

the way he's been holding on by a thread for the past 10 days has been absolutely amazing. He will certainly have earned this record. Can't wait to see an interview with him after all of this is over, and after a few days of continuous sleep I'm sure.

I would be fairly certain you will see both, likely someone is standing by to capture his "finish line" reaction.
From there.... pick every publication from running to backpacking and likely he will be setting an FKT for MIG. (Most interviews given)

The tracker seems to ping whenever. He might be mid-run, stopped for a moment, walking. Check several ping points and you'll see 5's, 2's, 0's. Overall, he looks to be moving well today. I'd guess his slower-than-expected pace of the past few days, with relatively more rest, has allowed him to recover a bit, enabling what looks to be a solid final push.
