Default Scale on Colorado Trail Map Book; UTM Plotter for CT Map Book

Question #1: Is my math correct below?
Question #2: Is there a UTM grid plotter to that scale available?

The scale of USGS maps is 1:24,000. One inch on the map = 24,000 inches (or 2,000 feet) in the field. The scale listed in the CT Map Book is 1 inch on the map = 3000 feet (36,000 inches) in the field. So the scale should be 1:36,000.

Your math is correct. It is a hard scale to find, but it is very easy to make your own using the scale printed at the bottom of the map.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
