Another piece of misinformation in the article, where he says only two had previously crossed the bay (LaLanne and Alberto Christini). Although he could have been talking about the article that inspired Mr. Platt (which at the time of printing only two may have done), but I feel it should have been shown that more people have crossed. I don't understand the point of this. Is it to mimic what a prisoner on Alcatraz might have done? Because a prisoner on Alcatraz would not have had a wetsuit. And if not, then why the shackles?
