Default Bland, VA to Woods Hole Hostel

Considering a hike on this part of the trail, and would appreciate any insight from those that have hiked through. How is the water through here in late summer?

    Tuck,

Just got back 2 days ago from Damascus to Buena Vista.

Water is pretty scarce in this area, the best bet is to camel up at the shelters.

I have heard a lot of good things about woods Hole from people that have stayed there.

    Hope this helps,

    Floyd

Woods Hole is an AT experience not to be missed. For me it was an affirmation of the AT community, a wonderful spiritual experience, and the best food for 2, 200 miles.

And sadly I'll have to save this section for another time as the dates I wanted to hike the section corresponds with the period they are close for vacation.
