jetfoil or jetboil?
Favorite recipe was morning coffee while still in the sleeping bag, the Jetboil is safe enough for me to cook from the tent (with the stove just outside). Besides that, it was great for hot food now. I have made boiled hot dogs, hard boiled eggs, beef stew. I have considered deep frying but didn't want to carry that much oil.
During the warmer summer months all I really wanted heated was my morning coffee, so I switched to Esbit and bounced the Jetboil.
No extra's for it, just the stove, pot and lid (and fuel canister).
thats good to hear, i really would like to go smaller but i already have one and they are super reliable.
The jetFoil was a high-speed hydroplaning ferry between Dublin & Liverpool in the 1980's. I've used it a couple of times, but never to cook with as it had an incredibly bumpy ride, the food would go everywhere. Also it was colloquially known as the "vomit comet", so no one was going to eat anyway. All true!
Sorry, couldn't resist :-)
I used one all the way. Coffee in the mornings, I mainly ate Mountain House each night so the JB was fine.
