Question What is the water situation from HF to SNP?

Hi all, I'm new to the community!

My sons and I are going to put in at HF and head south into SNP over nine days starting Sat (the 12th). I want to be as primitive as I can and have two Sawyer filters. I want to avoid using provided water sources.

My question is, what is the pond and stream report from HF to SNP?
Any other sage advice is welcome as this is a complete first for each of us re: extended hiking & camping, and doing it native-style.

    Thanks in advance...
    Ty

I feel like that section is usually pretty solid for water sources (creeks, etc.) but I'll ask my brother (studlintsean) to check in and see if he has more info. I do know that the Shenandoah River is very low right now though, which may be an indicator..
The one who follows the crowd, will usually get no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone, is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been.

Thank you for the info. I look forward to hearing from him (hopefully by Fri.).
