    Hello,
    I do plan for 2016/2017
As I do come from Germany I just wonder which telecominuication company has the best coverage thrueout the trail. And yes I do realise that there is not allways a coverage. But I would like to get in touch with my familly as often as possible. They will joint for some days and will support on some other days. So communication will be neccesarry.

Please do appologize my english, but I'm doing my best (as usual)

    Kind regards
Gunther (my old trail name form othertrail is Gimmli)

Verizon is the best choice especially in Maine and NH

Congratulations! You are doing far better with your English than I would do with German!
Verizon for sure. Good signal on most ridges and sometimes even the gaps. I do recommend turn off or use airplane mode to conserve battery when you are not using it.

Verizon, but to save money you can look for resellers of Verizon service, off brands. You have to research which ones use Verizon towers. Service will not be as good Verizon's direct service, but far better the anything else out there on trail.
