Questions about upcoming Virginia section hike

We are planning a section hike from Lick Skillet Hollow to Groundhog Trail Parking area in Virginia (outside/thru Pearisburg, VA).
We are interested in input regarding: Campsites near Kimberling Creek?
Water availability on this section?
Any information about the parking lot that is shown at base of Groundhog Trail on Va. 219/24 (info mentions a farm?).
Also, our map is kinda old and shows a proposed Trail relocation north of Pearisburg -did this relocation happen?

The parking lot is located about 2miles off 219 on Wv side of the mountain, The farm is called the sugar camp farm & part of national forest. The trail relocation did happen, its vary nice trail that's will marked & maintained
