Is the last week in April through the end of May too early for this hike?

May is great in CT, so at least the end of your journey will be nice.

Hey, I was born and raised in NJ but was smart enough to leave as soon as I could May is okay, it's early April which is a lot more iffy. Just hope it's not a rainy spring. I plan to head north from HF on May 1st so I'm also hoping it's not too rainy as PA is sort of in the same weather zone.

I'm from Ohio, which is about the same latitude as that area. May is getting out of the rawness of April.

I'm starting my third of four AT sections on May 9th, from HF heading north to Killington VT.
