I made a bail for one of my pots using a piece of ss road from Home Depot (thicker than a coat hanger but not by much). Drill a couple of holes in the pot, bend the rod, put a 90 in the ends, run it through, done.

SS bicycle spoke cut and bent as needed may work well. Will probably cost <$1.
    I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

    Nice. Tks.
Thats the part im thinking about. How to attach the bail to the pot. Must be better than just drilling holes in my pot. A couple of tabs rivieted on is kinda what im thinking.

Here is a link to one that I made for a Foster's pot:

Use fishing swivels and stainless steel wire on the outside of pot rim. A good pair of needle nose pliers is a good tool for this type of bail.

doesnt your pot have a folding handle?

Bails are horrible used for anything that needs to be poured because they require two hands to do it

Without an extra hand to hold what you are pouring into, using Mountain house, freezer bags, is problematic

Which is why I simply wrap small pots with bandana and pour with one hand.

I added bail to pots in past by drilling small holes and using bent 1/8" aluminum rod

I use wood as my primary fuel so the bail handles is what I need. Fire is always going up the side of the pot. Alcohol is secondary fuel.

Does the pot have any kind of a lip around it? If so stainless steel safety wire bicycle spoke or even better steel fishing leader and a couple snap swivels. Make a simple double loop best to twist it together pair of pliers. It's pretty easy I've made them for several pots.
